About Me

I have a new place I hope to be my forever home at 4038 Baldwin's Road, It is listed as Mount Stewart but it is on the way to Cardigan. It is a beautiful location of rolling hills and I am adding trees and gardens as quickly as I can manage.

I am an Islander thru and thru! I have moved away a couple times but keep coming back. I love this beautiful place but understand the rest of the world does not function the way we do here. Sometimes our way is great, sometimes less so.

I am an eternal student. I love to learn new things, especially ones that change my viewpoint on what life is "supposed" to look like. For massage this means learning different techniques and courses that change how I treat, assess and hold space for my clients. In life it means I am growing as a human every day.

I am slightly obsessive about my hobbies and tend to completely immerse myself in learning something, getting pretty good at it, then change focus and move on to something new. Right now I am about gardening, permaculture and soil health and how it mirrors how we should care for our own bodies. Did you ever connect how we treat the earth to how we treat ourselves and our bodies?

My mind sees patterns and subtle hints of connection. It makes me good at figuring out where problems are coming from. It can also help me link symptoms to root causes. That helps you get better!

My practice is in my home right now and I am loving that. At least one of my 2 cats will often greet people as they come and go. They are my version of children. They are not allowed in the treatment room due to allergies of some people. Despite what Freddie thinks, you don't actually have to pay attention to him, but he does love attention when he can get it.
